1500 hours, or approximately one year.
Includes the following
hair cutting
styling
coloring
permanent waving
anatomy and physiology
skin care
facials and make-up
(massaging, cleaning, stimulating, manipulating, exercising, beautifying or similar work upon the scalp, face, neck, arms or bust, but does not include nail technologies.
Important Note:
This course is the same length as the Hairdressing and Nail Technology course without the nail technology. It is highly recommended that individuals take the combined course in Cosmetology and Nail Technology for a well rounded education in the field. |
